09:00: Your friendly tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby

09:50 - 12:30: Your three day heritage tour begins with the most significant sight - the Terracotta Warriors Museum. There are three pits available, of which, pit 1 is the most important..The whole site holds about 8000 soldiers, each owns has its own unique face and expression. From the formation, you can see how Qin Dynasty soldiers fought and their army ranks. From the museum, you will know what ancient people thought of death.

12:30 - 13:30: Find a local restaurant for lunch, (lunch is for your own account).

13:30: Visit a local family living in a Traditional Cave Dwelling. Your tour guide will explain to you why people like to live here.

14:10: Depart the Terracotta Warriors and return to the city. It takes about 50 minutes to get back to the City from the Terracotta Warriors museum, during which time you can have a little rest and be prepared for the afternoon tour.

15:00: Visit the Ancient City Wall in a style that suits your preferences. You can either walk or ride a bike, or even take a golf cart (golf carts and bikes for your own account). This City Wall is the best preserved and most complete wall that has survived through China’s long history. It is about 12 meters high, 12 to 14 meters wide across the top and 15 to 18 meters thick at the base. The entire circumference is about 13.7 kilometers. It can take a while if you choose to walk the whole way around.

16:30 :  Visit the Shuyuanmen Cultural Street and learn about Chinese calligraphy and painting. The name originates from the Guanzhong Academy, which was the highest institution of higher learning in the Ming and Qing dynasties in Shaanxi, and now has become a painting and calligraphy center in Xi 'an. Today there are sound splash-ink works and high-quality goods on exhibit, sold in street stalls with elegant displays of price tags. Wandering in the street, you will have the misconception of walking in ancient China. Every year a large number of painting and calligraphy masters converge on Xi’an, holding various exhibitions. You might take part in one of them if you are lucky.

17:00: You will be dropped off at your hotel and your day tour comes to an end.

Terracotta Warriors Museum    Shuyuanmen Cultural Street

Day 2 Longmen Grottoes, Shaolin Temple

06:30: Your Xian driver will pick you up at the hotel and drive you to the Xian North Railway Station.

09:54: Your Luoyang tour guide will hold a welcome sign with your name on and greet you at the Luoyang Longmen Train Station.

10:10 - 12:30: Visit the world-famous Longmen Grottoes. Set on the banks of the Yi River, 12 km south of Luoyang City, the Longmen Grottoes are ranked the first of the Four Great Grottoes in China, together with the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang, Yungang Grottoes in Datong and Mount Maiji Grottoes in Tianshui. It was also listed into the World Cultural Heritages and Relics by UNESCO in 2000 for its broad collections and profound cultural influence in the world. Dotted between Xiangshan Mountain and the Longmen Mountain, with the Yi River flowing below, the Longmen Grottoes are harmonious with mountains, forests and rivers displaying a serene and peaceful atmosphere.

12:30- 13:30: Look for the most famous food in Luoyang, like Lamb Soup, Spicy soup, Bu Fan Soup , Tang Mian Jiao, noodles in Green-bean milk, etc.

14:30 - 17:00: After lunch, you will go to the Shaolin Temple, which is in the region of the Song Mountain, Dengfeng City, Henan Province, and is reputed to be “The Number One Temple under Heaven”. Included on UNESCO's World Cultural and Heritage List in 2010, it is the cradle of Chinese Zen Buddhism and  Shaolin Martial Arts such as the Shaolin Cudgel.

18: 00: Drop-off at the Luoyang Longmen Train Station.

20:09: Our driver will meet you at the train station holding a welcome sign with your name on. The train station is huge and not easy for our driver to find you, so here are some guidelines to help you find each other.

The arrival hall of this train station is in the basement level of the building. Since there are few exits to go out, sometimes it's pretty confusing to know which one to use. When you get into the arrival hall (there are two sides to go down to the arrival hall from the platform, and it's hard to know which side you will be on), please remember to find the “Information Desk” (问询台/信息台) which is in the middle of the hall and near the exit end, with four big screens on four sides above the desk! The driver will be there waiting for you!

Day 3 Hanyangling Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell Tower, Muslim Quarter

09:00: Get ready to be picked up by your friendly tour guide.

09:30 - 12:00: Start your day tour with the only underground museum in China - Hanyangling Museum, also called Jingdi’s Tomb. It is located near the airport about 30km north of Xian City. This is the burial site of Emperor Jingdi and his wife Empress Wangzhi. This tomb has been dated back 2,100 years. You will see some of the funeral goods such as pottery figurines dating back to the Han Dynasty, Luojing Stone that was used for measurement, and all kinds of stele inscribed with words.

12:00 - 13:00: Enjoy a Chinese lunch somewhere that locals frequent at your own expense. You may try something different from what you had the previous day.

13:40 - 15:30: Your afternoon tour will start with a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Located inside the Da Ci En temple, it was built in the Tang Dynasty to store all the Buddhist Sutras and Buddhist figures that Xuan Zang brought back from India. It’s the largest and oldest square pagoda ever built. Today, it has been remodeled and enlarged into a large park where local people come to relax on sunny days. If you come here at night, you will see local people dancing and singing, children running, fountain show performances and various small stalls selling local snacks.

15:50 - 16:20: Visit the icons of Xian city - Bell Tower (Or Drum Tower). In ancient times, the bell and the drum were used to strike time in the morning and at dusk because people didn’t have clocks or watches, so there is a saying ‘Morning Bell and Dusk Drum’ in Chinese. The two towers are icons of Xi’an, as they are the best preserved in all of China.

16:20 - 17:00: You will head for the famous food paradise - the Muslim Quarter. From its name, you can assume that this is a Muslim neighborhood, so please do not mention pork under any circumstances. You will be surrounded by a variety of local foods and interesting artifacts, it’s hard to resist the temptation to try one or two.

17:00: Finish your day tour and return to your hotel.
