Detailed itinerary

Day 1 Terracotta Warriors Museum, Cave Dwelling, Food Tour

12:00: Meet your guide at noon and get ready for this amazing day trip.

13:00 - 15:30: After almost an hour's drive, you will get to the world wonder Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, where some of the funerary findings from Qin Shi Huang’s mausoleum are presented. About four decades ago, a group of local peasants were digging well, and some fragments of clay figure came out, which turns out to belong to one of the most magnificent mausoleums. Not long later, an entire army of life-size terracotta soldiers and horses interred for two thousand years was discovered. Despite that some hundred of pits were detected, there are only three accessible nowadays. The pit 1 is so far the largest one and the major infantry force where the soldiers stand in formation based on their ranks in the army. There are altogether over 1000 figurines, 8 war chariots, 32 clay horses and tens of thousands of bronzes excavated. The most astonishing thing is that each warrior wears a different expression and appearance. Pit 2 is located to the north of pit 1. The whole army in pit 2 is composed of four units playing separate roles as bowmen, chariot rider, infantry, and cavalrymen. While the pit 3 is the situation room where senior generals direct the whole army. This Terracotta Army tour will uncover the mystery of the Qin Dynasty and unveil a great dynasty in front of you.

    Terra-cotta Army     Cave House

15:50- 16:30: Your next destination will be a local Cave Dwelling family. Please do not expect to see how stylish or fashionable the cave will be. Instead, we will take you to visit one of the authentic cave dwellings where urbanization hasn’t cast too much influence. You will learn about the magic of this cave that makes people unwilling to move out. You will also see the old lady’s embroidery work.

17:30 - 20:00: You will come back to the city and be dazzled in the breathtaking night views in the city center. Unlike the solemness in the day time, Xian reveals its modernity and vitality at night. You will pass the beautiful Bell Tower and Drum Tower and go westwards to the Muslim Quarter area. Even though you have seen the hustle and bustle of this place, Muslim Quarter at night is nothing like that. It’s even 2-3 times more riotous. With vendors yelling to sell their goods, local snacks giving off faint fragrance, people lining up just for a bit of Chinese Hamburger or Roast Meat, small Tuk Tuks navigate swiftly here and there, this place is perfect for strolling. You will also take a Tuk Tuk with your guide to get around and explore the exotic food. You will be able to taste five to six kinds of food.

Satisfied both in mind and stomach, you will head back to the hotel to savor this incredible day.
